About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Copeland will lead the salaried recruiting efforts for the North America region, focusing on end-to-end recruiting processes across the United States and Canada. This role involves creating proactive sourcing strategies, engaging with diverse talent, and collaborating with hiring teams to meet the organization's evolving talent needs. The position is part of a global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence and may be remote, with a preference for candidates located in the Midwest or Southern regions of the US.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full cycle, end-to-end salaried recruiting efforts across the United States and Canada.
  • Collaborate with other TA team members, managers & HR teams to understand the organization and effectively communicate with candidates.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with hiring managers and HR teams to meet talent needs and objectives.
  • Serve as a talent advisor consulting with leaders on effective strategies for talent acquisition.
  • Create and maintain relationships with professional organizations to drive brand awareness and engagement with potential candidates.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion efforts within the recruiting process.
  • Lead recruiting efforts for higher-level and difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Coach and review the work of junior TA team members.
  • Provide an excellent candidate and hiring team experience, incorporating feedback and best practices.
  • Conduct market research and share talent intelligence to enhance competitiveness.
  • Utilize recruiting tools and be proficient in HRIS systems like Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and others.
  • Research and evaluate new sourcing tools and methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Possess a hunter mentality with experience in high-volume recruiting searches.
  • Experience using various sourcing and recruiting tools.
  • Ability to align talent acquisition objectives with business priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with project and time management skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment managing multiple high-level searches.
  • Proven positive communication skills and ability to connect with various levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel to key Copeland sites in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Previous experience recruiting highly technical, niche roles.
  • Previous experience with Workday.
