About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Smith Crossing is responsible for identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent for the organization. This role involves developing effective recruitment strategies, managing the hiring process, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while fostering strong relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts by collaborating with internal teams and hiring managers.
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.
  • Lead employment branding initiatives to enhance the company's image as an employer.
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes, including interviews and screening calls.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage job advertising and postings across various platforms.
  • Assist in employee retention and development initiatives.
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers, or other recruitment events.
  • Utilize metrics to create reports and identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years of recruitment experience.
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards for recruitment purposes.
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to attract talent using various sourcing tools and methods.
  • Strong decision-making skills and creativity in recruitment strategies.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in a long-term or healthcare setting preferred.
