About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the entire recruiting cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and reference checking, to ensure timely and cost-effective recruitment of personnel into allocated business areas. This role supports the Talent Acquisition Manager in operational excellence and business process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Investigate the key requirements of each active vacancy within the allocated business areas.
• Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained for hiring projects and candidate offers.
• Select and agree with the Talent Acquisition Manager on the most appropriate resourcing methodology for each active vacancy.
• Recommend the most appropriate candidate selection methods to hiring managers.
• Drive direct recruitment using online job boards, Xing, and LinkedIn.
• Receive and filter CVs to ensure hiring managers only receive relevant applications.
• Conduct competency-based interviews for appropriate candidates and provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
• Undertake interviews with hiring managers and contribute to the recruitment decision-making process.
• Present verbal offers to successful candidates and initiate the contract preparation process via Workday.
• Provide guidance to Talent Acquisition Specialists throughout the wider GTT Talent Acquisition team.

Requirements

• Experience in full-cycle recruitment processes.
• Strong understanding of various recruitment methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct competency-based interviews effectively.
• Proficiency in using online job boards and professional networking sites.
