About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at RHA Health Services is responsible for managing the recruitment process for candidates, focusing on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those facing mental health and substance use challenges. This role involves building candidate networks, creating job postings, conducting interviews, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. The specialist will work closely with hiring managers to develop effective hiring strategies and improve the overall recruitment experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to assess talent requirements and advise on hiring strategies.
  • Source potential candidates through networking, social media, and professional associations.
  • Create articulate and professional job postings to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Utilize various techniques to discover and attract passive talent.
  • Conduct thorough behavioral-based interviews and phone screens to assess candidates' skills.
  • Serve as the point-of-contact for recommending hiring rates and making job offers.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment guidelines.
  • Focus on providing a great candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develop and support workforce recruiting plans at the unit/department level.
  • Incorporate management feedback into future recruitment programs.

Requirements

  • 5 years of progressive relevant experience in recruitment.
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR preferred.
  • Experience with Workday ATS and MS Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate or agency recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
