Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
• Collaborate with department heads to create job descriptions and meet staffing needs.
• Source candidates using various platforms such as online job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
• Build a pipeline of skilled candidates for future roles.
• Participate in job fairs and career events, focusing on candidates with manufacturing skills.
• Use market data to inform hiring decisions and recommend improvements to the recruitment process.
• Assist in workforce planning and collaborate with department managers to anticipate future hiring needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record in hiring skilled trades (machinists, welders, electricians) and technical roles (engineers, technicians).
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and other job boards.
