About the position

We are seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist with over 5 years of experience in recruiting to join our team at Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. This individual will work closely with the Human Resources team, focusing on process improvement, systems, branding, and leading the candidate hiring journey. The role involves indirect oversight of the Recruiting Coordinators, acting as a mentor, trainer, or guide. The position is based in our Irvine, California office and reports to the Sr Talent Acquisition Manager or another designated senior management personnel by the President of the Company. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for organizing employee data in the company's internal databases, scheduling and coordinating high-level interviews, and assisting with travel arrangements. The Specialist will manage job boards and other Talent Acquisition vendors in partnership with the Sr TA Manager, support various TA projects including the internship program, and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the candidate experience and improving Talent Acquisition KPIs. Building and maintaining strong relationships with external recruitment partners and vendors is crucial to ensure a high-quality candidate pipeline. The Specialist will also be involved in reporting and analytics for Talent Acquisition, drafting and executing Talent Acquisition Partner contracts, and continuously improving recruitment processes to streamline operations and enhance the candidate experience. Additionally, the Specialist will work closely with all levels of management and departments such as Marketing, Legal, and HR Operations to drive successful talent acquisition initiatives. They will serve as the first level of escalation for the Talent Coordinator team, developing solutions or recommendations for resolving issues and providing backup administrative support to Talent Acquisition Coordinators when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Organize employee data in the company's internal databases (HRIS, ATS, etc)
  • Schedule and coordinate high-level interviews and help with travel coordination
  • Manage job boards and other Talent Acquisition vendors in partnership with Sr TA Manager
  • Support the company's TA projects including, but not limited to, internship program in partnership with the Sr TA Manager
  • Lead or participate in Talent Acquisition projects aimed at enhancing candidate experience and improving our Talent Acquisition KPIs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment partners and vendors to ensure a high-quality candidate pipeline
  • Reporting and Analytics for TA
  • Draft and Execute Talent Acquisition Partner contacts
  • Continuously improve recruitment processes and procedures to streamline operations and enhance the candidate experience
  • Build and execute training materials for internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with all levels of management and departments such as Marketing, Legal, HR Ops, etc to drive successful talent acquisition initiatives
  • First level of escalations from the Talent Coordinator team and escalate to Sr TA Manager as needed
  • Assist the HR TA Ops team by providing backup administrative support to Talent Acquisition Coordinator(s) when needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition Operations
  • Implementation or configuration experience with ATS and/or HRIS systems
  • ATS Reporting and Analytics
  • Minimum 1 year of Leadership experience specifically around mentoring, leading projects/teams within Talent Acquisition
  • Intermediate experience in Recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency with PC software, including MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, AdobeSign and Excel
  • Ability to interact politely and professionally at all levels of the company
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage tasks simultaneously with impeccable attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment
