Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics, segment Procurement and the design and manufacture of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters). Responsibilities

  • Work with TA Partner recruitment and hiring plans for production aligned positions.
  • Work with TA Partner on improving metrics for Recruiting- analyzing trends and comparing to industry best practice to continually improve recruitment strategies.
  • Partnering with hiring managers regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization, leveraging data.
  • Build relationships with key partner organizations to enhance the Caterpillar brand in local communities.
  • Participate in recruitment engagement events / campaigns specifically for hard to fill roles.
  • Utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools and industry-leading sourcing technologies to deliver the most qualified candidates for current roles and building strong candidate pipelines for future roles.
  • Contribute towards broader recruiting team projects.
  • Work with candidates on completing background checks, drug tests, and pre-screens.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Knowledge of techniques, methods, and channels of candidate sourcing; ability to attract and qualify candidates for immediate job vacancies or as potential long-term candidates.
  • Knowledge of standards, processes, techniques, and methods used in staffing and recruiting; ability to identify, select, retain, and relocate qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions.
  • Knowledge of human resources (HR) and workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze workforce data, information and metrics and apply the results to support business decision.
