About the position

In this position, you will be responsible for a range of responsibilities dependent upon the needs of the business. The role primarily involves sourcing and screening of active and passive candidates, managing client and candidate interactions, overseeing requisition and pipeline management, as well as handling various administrative support functions related to candidate employment. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform a variety of functional tasks, work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, and exhibit a strong commitment to their peers, clients, and candidates. Your responsibilities will include responding to candidate inquiries via email, telephone, or other appropriate communication methods. You will be tasked with recruiting and mining job boards and social media avenues in accordance with standard operating procedures. Providing candidates with information about positions and companies, as well as discussing opportunities, will be a key part of your role. You will also review the hiring process with candidates and answer their questions appropriately. Additionally, you will manage project-based requisitions and candidate pipelines, utilizing Boolean search techniques to source and mine candidates for difficult-to-fill positions. Your role will involve developing and executing strategies to identify, source, and attract top talent using creative sourcing techniques for both active and passive candidates. Interactions with candidates, hiring managers, and clients will be essential, as will screening candidates for minimum and preferred qualifications to identify top talent. You will be responsible for posting positions on various job boards such as Indeed, Zip Recruiter, and Monster, and documenting, tracking, and reporting as appropriate based on standard operating procedures. Administrative support tasks will include scheduling and event logistics, generating candidate letters, managing inbound and outbound phone calls, administering tests, and updating and managing databases. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a recruiting role, with experience recruiting in IT roles preferred.
  • Must be located in a non-redesignating HUBZone.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer and candidate management abilities.
  • Ability to deliver recruitment projects and administrative tasks to deadline.
  • Demonstrated timeliness, accuracy, prioritization, and productivity of tasking.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a high volume, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management abilities.
  • Well organized with the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to build good working relationships and trust at all levels.

  • Self-directed and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
