About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Klein Tools is responsible for managing the full life cycle of recruiting for various positions within the company, including clerical, technical, administrative, and management roles. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams. The specialist will leverage data insights to influence business strategies and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to achieve recruitment objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple job requisitions and screen resumes.
  • Pre-screen candidates and coordinate on-site interviews.
  • Attend job fairs and partner with local HR teams and hiring managers.
  • Enter and maintain data integrity in the applicant tracking system.
  • Source, recruit, screen, interview, and assess candidates across multiple job openings.
  • Communicate interview details to candidates, ensuring they have all necessary information.
  • Manage internal candidates and the employee referral process.
  • Administer pre-employment testing and compare qualifications to job requirements.
  • Schedule and participate in the interview process with hiring teams.
  • Perform timely interview debrief meetings with hiring teams to evaluate candidates.
  • Maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates through various channels.
  • Coordinate background checks and new-hire drug testing for qualified candidates.
  • Act as a consistent point of contact for candidates during the hiring process.
  • Submit offer requests for review and approval and follow up with candidates regarding offer details.
  • Close out job requisitions in the applicant tracking system and follow up with candidates who were not extended an offer.
  • Complete weekly reports on employment activity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related business curriculum.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience.
  • Clear understanding of the recruitment life cycle process.
  • Experience with application tracking software (iCims) preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
