About the position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our District Team. This role is focused on sourcing, identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier talent to meet the company's hiring needs. The specialist will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
• Assist in developing and executing recruiting plans to meet staffing goals.
• Utilize recruitment channels and techniques (job boards, social media, networking) to attract top talent.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates to evaluate their qualifications and fit for the organization.
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future staffing needs.
• Maintain and update a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
• Assist with onboarding new employees.
• Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Stay current on industry trends and recruitment best practices to continuously improve recruitment processes.

Requirements

• Experience as a sourcing specialist, recruiter, or staffing agency experience is desired.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Experience with social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram.
• Experience in sourcing and attracting candidates through various channels including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
