About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Copeland will lead the salaried recruiting efforts for the North America region, focusing on end-to-end recruiting processes across the United States and Canada. This role involves creating proactive sourcing strategies, engaging with diverse talent, and collaborating with hiring teams to meet the organization's evolving talent needs. The position emphasizes building relationships, championing diversity and inclusion, and utilizing innovative recruiting tools to attract top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full cycle, end-to-end salaried recruiting efforts across the United States and Canada.
  • Effectively market and advertise job opportunities, build a talent network, and source passive talent.
  • Screen and interview candidates, prepare, extend, and negotiate offers, and assist in onboarding new hires.
  • Collaborate with TA team members, managers, and HR teams to understand the organization and communicate effectively with candidates.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with hiring managers and HR teams to meet talent needs and objectives.
  • Serve as a talent advisor, consulting with leaders on effective recruiting strategies and hiring laws.
  • Create and maintain relationships with professional organizations to drive brand awareness and engagement with potential candidates.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion efforts within the recruiting process.
  • Lead recruiting efforts for higher-level and difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Coach and review the work of junior TA team members.
  • Provide an excellent candidate and hiring team experience, incorporating feedback and best practices.
  • Conduct market research and share talent intelligence to enhance competitiveness.
  • Utilize recruiting tools and be proficient in HRIS systems like Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, and others.
  • Research and evaluate new sourcing tools and methods to enhance recruiting strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Experience in high-volume recruiting searches and sourcing.
  • Proficiency in various sourcing and recruiting tools.
  • Ability to align talent acquisition objectives with business priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with project and time management skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple high-level searches.
  • Strong communication skills to connect with various levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel to key Copeland sites in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of professional recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting highly technical, niche roles.
  • Previous experience with Workday.
