About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Chord Energy will play a crucial role in supporting the company's recruiting and staffing needs while enhancing the employee experience. This position involves managing the full-cycle recruitment process, serving as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers, and promoting the company's culture and values. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in recruiting and a strong ability to build relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending offers.
  • Establish recurring meetings with leaders to stay informed about departmental operations and HR-related issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers, facilitating communication and addressing concerns.
  • Understand the company's operations and strategic drivers to meet departmental objectives effectively.
  • Participate in or lead special projects related to HR initiatives and company growth.
  • Work with HR team and managers to identify retention strategies and improve employee engagement.
  • Advise and train hiring managers and employees on company policies and compliance requirements regarding recruiting and talent management.
  • Develop strong relationships within the HR team, operations management, and external recruiters.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Promote company events, culture, and values to stay connected with staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 8 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition position.
  • Experience using an HRIS/Applicant Management system for job postings and candidate screening.
  • Knowledge of HR policies and federal employment laws.
  • Understanding of market conditions, job competencies, and candidate assessment strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with good judgment.
