Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment and selection processes for assigned divisions.
  • Administer salary offers and ensure compliance with salary administration policies.
  • Process personnel and organizational management actions within the Integrated HR-Payroll System.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Post job vacancies and screen applications using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system, NEOGOV, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and job market changes to inform recruitment strategies.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources or a relevant field from an accredited institution and 1 year of experience, or 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated work experience with recruitment and/or salary administration policies and practices.
  • Experience utilizing a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) or employee/personnel database.
  • Documented experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to establish positive working relationships with hiring managers and candidates.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in salary administration within NC State Government.
  • Proven customer service skills in a recruitment context.
