About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Passavant Memorial Homes is responsible for building relationships and recruiting qualified candidates to fill various positions within the organization. This role involves implementing diverse recruitment strategies, leveraging both traditional and online platforms to attract potential candidates, and enhancing the applicant tracking system to streamline the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to reach candidates in a variety of avenues.
  • Act as an employer brand ambassador to help drive candidate interest in career opportunities.
  • Proactively contact and interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks.
  • Assist with multi-channel recruiting processes to fill pipeline with high quality candidates including passive applicants, employee referrals, social networking, college networking, and career fairs.
  • Work collaboratively with the Human Resources team and hiring managers to identify hiring needs and match qualified candidates to open positions.
  • Perform initial screening of applications and resumes, interview candidates, and make recommendations for hire for select positions.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports pertaining to recruitment.
  • Implement and attend recruitment events.
  • Enhance and maintain the applicant tracking system across the organization.
  • Develop recruitment materials for various positions across the organization.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Vice President of Corporate Projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related discipline, required.
  • Minimum of two years professional experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), required.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and solve problems in a timely manner, required.
  • Proficient with social media platforms, especially Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, required.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office - particularly Excel), required.
  • Experience working with Human Resource Management Systems (HRIS), required.
