About the position

Hill International is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the Mid-Atlantic Region. This hybrid role involves sourcing, identifying, and recruiting staff for various positions, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to define job competencies and requirements. The position requires building strong relationships with internal teams and managing the entire recruiting process using an online applicant tracking system.

Responsibilities

  • Source, identify, and recruit new, replacement, and contingent staff from external sources.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews and coordinate all interviews with hiring managers and the Sr. Talent Director.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand and define job competencies and recruiting requirements for open positions.
  • Coordinate internal postings and utilize appropriate internet sources for external postings, including social and professional networking sites.
  • Create and maintain strong working relationships with Operation Managers, Corporate Team leaders, and the recruiting team.
  • Manage all aspects of the recruiting process, including sourcing, qualifying candidates, salary negotiation, and verbal offers.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Attend conferences, hiring fairs, networking events, and office visits in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience in an agency environment.
  • Experience in the A/E/C industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience closing candidates to offers in a competitive market.
  • Self-sufficient and able to work under the direction of the Sr. Talent Director and hiring managers.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability.
  • Knowledge of multiple job boards, social media, and other sourcing platforms, as well as ATS.
  • Proven track record of building rapport with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
