We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This position will play a critical role in sourcing top talent and supporting our business objectives and overall mission. You will collaborate closely with internal technical teams and hiring managers, attend local events, and proactively engage with talent resources. Successful candidates will demonstrate a passion for talent acquisition and commitment to proactive candidate and customer engagement, coupled with excellent interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams to understand business objectives and develop a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational goals. You will anticipate future talent and hiring needs and proactively identify areas for recruitment to support business growth. Sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and industry-specific networks will be a key responsibility. You will represent the organization at job fairs, career events, industry-specific events, conferences, networking sessions, and university outreach programs. Building effective relationships with local talent pools, universities, and professional associations is essential. You will support the end-to-end recruitment process, from defining job requirements and posting to job boards, to offer negotiation and onboarding. Conducting interviews, assessments, and coordinating with hiring managers to make informed and strategic hiring decisions will be part of your daily tasks. Ensuring a thorough evaluation of technical skills, cultural fit, and alignment with company values is crucial. Additionally, you will serve as Project Coordinator for assigned projects related to business growth initiatives and recruitment. Compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process is mandatory. You will ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely feedback and communication. Generating required reports including key performance indicators, candidate pipeline trackers, and other additional responsibilities as assigned will also be part of your role.
