About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Gexpro Services plays a crucial role in supporting the hiring needs across various locations in the US. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end candidate experience, ensuring effective sourcing and selection processes, and driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the hiring process. The specialist will collaborate with hiring teams, improve candidate journeys, and utilize data-driven insights to enhance recruitment practices.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end-to-end candidate experience, including identifying candidates, screening, interview coordination, extending job offers, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, screening, and selection approaches.
  • Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies are incorporated throughout the hiring process.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve the candidate journey, such as reducing time to hire.
  • Source and attract applicants using multiple channels, including job boards and social media.
  • Assess applicants' skills and knowledge through resume reviews and interviews.
  • Interface with hiring managers regarding hiring needs and prospects.
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future roles.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Provide well-documented recruiting reports and utilize data for decision-making.
  • Act as a point of contact and build positive candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment platforms.
  • Champion ATS processes for efficiency.
  • Lead HR process innovation and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in a warehouse and distribution environment.
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively conduct interviews through various mediums (phone, in-person, video).
  • Experience using recruiting software (Applicant Tracking System).
  • Exhibits a high sense of urgency and tenacity while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing competing demands through strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic and positive approach.
