About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is responsible for managing the full cycle recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates while maintaining compliance and enhancing the organization's talent pipeline. The specialist will also engage with external organizations to promote diversity in hiring and stay updated on recruiting trends.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain responsibility for the full life cycle recruitment process including position requirements, sourcing, screening, candidate management, interviewing, offer process, salary negotiations, and compliance.
  • Develop a diverse talent pipeline through active recruiting and passive sourcing and candidate screening.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers and employees related to hiring policies and procedures.
  • Build a hiring strategy by role and location for assigned area ensuring talent is available ahead of needs.
  • Stay current on recruiting trends and candidate availability.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is up to date.
  • Participate with external organizations in areas of recruitment to establish positive community outreach relationships to increase diversity hires.
  • Enhance the department and organization by accepting ownership of the responsibilities of the job.
  • Explore opportunities to increase personal value and seek continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience.
  • Prior experience with recruitment, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of recruiting and sourcing platforms.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to plan and make decisions.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, and driving record within policy guidelines.
