About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Donohoe Construction Company will manage the full-cycle recruiting process for the division, focusing on sourcing, screening, and closing top candidates. This role is essential in building a diverse talent pool and maintaining strong relationships with operational leaders and external organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and perform full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing top talent.
  • Create engaging and effective position descriptions for current and anticipated openings.
  • Develop and post engaging job postings on job boards, industry-specific sites, university websites, and other venues.
  • Update and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment database per each stage of the recruitment process.
  • Perform detailed reference checks on selected candidates and review results with hiring managers.
  • Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates as well as the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and those interviewing.
  • Draft all offer letters and send to hiring managers; send approved copies to candidates.
  • Build diverse and strong talent pool for existing and future positions through new and existing methods.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the company's operational leaders, external professional organizations, colleges and universities, and industry contacts to identify qualified leaders and professionals.
  • Continuously conduct research on industry trends and competitor data to ensure Donohoe Construction's competitive advantage.
  • Maintain the employee referral program for Donohoe Construction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in related field such as Human Resources Management, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Development, or Business.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources-related position.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in Human Resources and recruitment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Well organized, efficient, detail-oriented.
  • Possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude plus a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, presentation, and interpersonal.
