About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Share Corporation will play a pivotal role in the recruitment process and onboarding activities within the organization. This full-time position is designed for an individual who is passionate about engaging and retaining talent while also contributing to various HR functions. The specialist will be responsible for creating internal career paths and identifying high-potential employees, ensuring that the company not only attracts but also retains the best talent available. In this role, the specialist will source and screen incoming resumes to identify candidates who meet the job requirements. Utilizing job boards, social media, and community resources, the specialist will attract candidates and conduct interviews to narrow down the pool of potential hires. Scheduling interviews with hiring managers and onboarding new hires will be essential to ensure that new employees have clear expectations and can add value to the organization from day one. Additionally, the specialist will develop processes to assess the current and temporary workforce, guiding partner promotions and development. Building and managing community relationships will be crucial to maintaining an active candidate pipeline. The specialist will design and implement an overall recruiting strategy, coordinate drug screens and background checks, and collaborate with department managers to proactively identify future hiring needs. Updating job descriptions and specifications, preparing recruitment materials for job postings and job fairs, and providing analytical recruiting reports to the team will also be part of the responsibilities. Furthermore, the specialist will source training opportunities to support employee development and create training materials as needed, assisting the department in various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.

Responsibilities

  • Source and screen incoming resumes to determine which candidates meet the requirements of the position.
  • Source and attract candidates by utilizing job boards, social media, and community resources.
  • Conduct interviews to narrow down the number of potential candidates.
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Onboard new hires appropriately to ensure they have clear expectations and are adding value to the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Extensive working knowledge of PC functions and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, works independently and displays initiative.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and provide cross-functional support.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Basic knowledge of employment law.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media and online job sites.
