About the position

We are seeking a skilled Recruiter to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet our organization's needs. This role requires an energetic, initiative-taking, and self-sufficient individual who actively seeks opportunities to assist and support colleagues, customers, and others. The successful candidate will proactively monitor the work environment for opportunities to lend support and will be instrumental in shaping our talent acquisition strategy. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will plan and implement the company's talent acquisition strategy, develop policies for talent benchmarking, assessment, and interviewing, and conduct sourcing activities to fill open positions. This role involves performing analysis of organizational development to anticipate future employment needs, designing and managing recruitment and selection processes, and reviewing employment applications and background check reports. The Specialist will serve as a brand ambassador at various events, such as career fairs or on-campus recruiting events, representing the company internally and externally with the goal of networking and building relationships with potential candidate communities. In addition, the Specialist will counsel candidates on corporate benefits, salary, and the corporate environment, build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates, and manage candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities. The role also includes administering and submitting all hiring paperwork for new employees, generating monthly updates for the company's leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives, and creating monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics. Regular communication with the HR department is essential to gain a clear view of the company's hiring needs and organizational goals, and collaboration with the marketing department will be necessary to develop creative solutions for talent acquisition challenges. The Specialist will proactively seek market intelligence to gain a competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies, and will suggest innovative ideas for improving talent acquisition activities while researching trends in the staffing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy

  • Conduct sourcing activities to fill open positions

Requirements

  • Previous working experience preferably as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for 10 years
  • In-depth knowledge of candidate's selection methods
  • Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes
  • Hands on experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Impactful presentation style
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Creative thinker and initiative-taking analytical person
  • A positive, 'can do' attitude.
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
