About the position

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at GLS, you will oversee the full life cycle of recruitment, focusing on sourcing both active and passive candidates through various channels. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to create recruitment plans, establishing a strong online presence to attract diverse candidates, and managing administrative HR functions related to recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Create a thorough recruitment and interviewing plan for each open position based on collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Source quality candidates for all open positions through various forms of advertising and vendor networks.
  • Develop an online organizational presence to attract a diverse pool of candidates, including social media and professional networking sites.
  • Establish strong working relationships with organization leaders to provide top-quality service during the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate all pre-employment background review processes to ensure candidates meet organizational standards.
  • Participate in organizing and implementing college recruiting initiatives.
  • Research and participate in career fairs and networking events to increase awareness of the company brand.
  • Own administrative HR functions, including onboarding and new hire orientation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree required.
  • Basic knowledge of HR concepts required.
  • Strong drive, ambition, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
