About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Care Options for Kids is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and marketing to attract top talent for various healthcare positions, including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and Home Health Aides (HHA). This role involves managing the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to hiring, while also developing strategies to improve recruitment and retention efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement recruiting plans and strategies for RN, LPN, CNA, and HHA caregivers.
  • Participate in developing company goals, objectives, and systems related to recruiting and retention.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts including writing advertisements, screening resumes, and reaching out to candidates via phone, email, and text.
  • Manage the recruitment process through the applicant tracking system.
  • Complete the recruitment process including application paperwork and credential checks.
  • Assist in evaluating departmental reports and results in relation to established goals.
  • Recommend new approaches and policies to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Track caregiver activities in Excel.
  • Assist local offices with caregiver recruiting plans and efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with management and local offices to meet recruitment needs.
  • Create excitement among candidates to join the organization.
  • Respond promptly to applicants and guide them through the online process.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing with brand collateral and special campaigns.
  • Develop contests and programs to encourage recruitment and transparency within the organization.
  • Create tools and reports to measure and enhance recruiting efforts.
  • Perform reference, license, background, and other checks on candidates.
  • Discuss pay ranges with candidates and the Market Manager.

Requirements

  • At least one year of recruiting experience.
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • High school diploma required; four-year college degree strongly preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking System preferred.
  • Knowledge of ContinuLink is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems in a stressful environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs.
  • Bilingual preferred.
