About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience for candidates and hiring managers. This role involves building strong relationships, managing pre-employment activities, and staying updated on industry trends and employment laws. The position is integral to fostering a positive work environment and driving the company's recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, from job requisition creation to candidate onboarding.
  • Coordinate all pre-employment activities for candidates including obtaining and processing background checks and drug tests.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and preferences.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of candidate information in the applicant tracking system.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition.
  • Remain informed about relevant employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience within a Talent Acquisition role.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in talent acquisition/recruitment.
  • Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with other Applicant Tracking Systems or HCM platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in recruiting for various roles across different departments.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
