This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your recruiting expertise within a large organization dedicated to excellence in talent acquisition. With a combination of remote work and time in an open office environment, you'll play a pivotal role in attracting and hiring top-tier talent to support the company's strategic goals. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will partner with hiring managers to thoroughly understand role requirements and their alignment with broader business objectives. You will source and screen both active and passive candidates using job boards, social networking, and direct sourcing strategies. Consistently meeting or exceeding weekly recruiting metrics, including phone screens, interviews, and offers, will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will identify candidates who are a strong fit for both the role and company culture, providing informed recommendations for interviews and hiring. Additionally, you will actively pursue diverse candidate pools to support the company's diversity initiatives and apply data-driven recruitment methodologies to influence timely and effective hiring decisions, ensuring data integrity across recruiting tools. Utilizing internal reporting tools to monitor and track recruiting funnels and sourcing activities will also be part of your role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to thoroughly understand role requirements and their alignment with broader business objectives.

  • Utilize internal reporting tools to monitor and track recruiting funnels and sourcing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of relevant recruiting or talent sourcing experience in an agency or corporate environment.
  • Alternatively, a high school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant recruiting or talent sourcing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, full life cycle recruiting, hiring process management, and effective time management.
  • Experience working in high-volume recruiting or a metrics-focused environment.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in recruiting or sourcing for trade roles, such as HVAC, Low Voltage Electricians, and Installation Technicians.
  • Familiarity with recruiting for sales-focused positions.
  • Proficiency in using Boolean search techniques for candidate sourcing.
