We are looking to welcome a new recruiter to our team! Join WSECU as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and make a big impact! In this role, you'll work with a bright, fun group of Human Resources professionals who truly care about employees and fostering a work culture second to none. We are looking for a savvy recruiting expert who can grow and innovate within a regulated environment and find solutions to tough hiring challenges. Your day may include: Partnering with leaders across the organization to understand hiring needs, develop robust recruitment plans from assessing approved requisitions and job descriptions to creating postings and screening questions while managing a variable requisition load for a variety of positions. Proactively sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for hiring manager review. Coordinating interviews, assessment testing, background, credit, and reference checks, while ensuring recruiting activities are compliant with applicable laws and OFFCP regulations. Guiding hiring managers on best practices and assisting with interview question development and workflow management. Coordinating with hiring leaders, preparing offers for approval, including an internal equity analysis. Responsible for tracking employee referrals and employee referral drawing winners and ensuring payments are processed. Tracking and presenting recruitment activities and metrics, participating in recruitment team meetings and People and Culture team meetings. Ensuring ATS is current, accurate, and compliant prior to closing down requisitions, communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process. Representing WSECU at various career fairs and networking events and conducting diversity outreach. Partnering to present recruiting training to managers in Leader Orientation and other training as needed. Shepherding new hires through the onboarding process and acting as a resource for both internal and external candidates. Working with LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, and various vendors to optimize services, responding to all reviews and maintaining the content. Maintaining relationships with Staffing and updating spreadsheets and tracking hours to ensure Temporary Agency employees don't work over the allowed amount of hours.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year Human Resources experience, including experience in recruiting/hiring.
  • Knowledge of HR systems.
  • Well developed interpersonal, written and telephone communication skills.
  • Excellent conceptual, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Nice-to-haves

  • BA degree in Human Resources or a closely related field.
  • HR certification.
  • Ability to calculate figures and percentages.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data.
  • Ability to use formulas, perform calculations and link items in Excel.
  • Project management skills.
