About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Mclaurin Aerospace is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company's staffing needs. This role involves managing the full recruitment life cycle, collaborating with hiring managers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding. The specialist will also promote the company's employer brand and utilize data-driven strategies to enhance recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle for various roles, from entry-level to senior positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific hiring needs and create tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Proactively source candidates using job boards, social media platforms, and employee referrals.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Promote the company's brand as an employer of choice through engaging content and participation in job fairs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and personalized support.
  • Conduct thorough screening interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Use recruitment metrics and reports to track hiring progress and improve processes.
  • Extend offers, negotiate compensation packages, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive recruitment process documents for clarity and accessibility.
  • Manage and mentor recruitment interns, providing guidance and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, sales, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting and various sourcing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • High level of organization, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an advantage.
  • Experience in recruiting for specialized roles in Aerospace Engineering.
