About the position

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Advanced Composites, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's workforce and culture. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the full recruitment cycle, which includes sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. You will collaborate closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each role, ensuring that job postings are engaging and accurately reflect the requirements of the positions. Your efforts will not only focus on filling vacancies but also on enhancing the employer brand through various initiatives, including social media engagement and community outreach programs. In addition to recruitment, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. This includes managing the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensuring that all candidates receive timely communication and feedback. You will also be tasked with building strong relationships with community services, colleges, and employment agencies to create a robust talent pipeline. Your role will extend beyond recruitment as you will also contribute to employee engagement initiatives. This includes planning and executing company events, such as holiday parties and community service activities, in collaboration with the HR team and events committee. Your ability to innovate and apply creative solutions will be essential in driving these initiatives forward and fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities

  • Lead the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with HR team and hiring managers to understand roles and create engaging job postings.
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience and manage the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Enhance the employer brand through social media presence, website content management, and recruitment events.
  • Build strong relationships with community services, colleges, workforce partnerships, and employment agencies.
  • Plan and execute company events in collaboration with the HR team and events committee.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in HR, recruiting, digital marketing, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HR software, and ATS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience managing social media and enhancing website user experience through content management.
