About the position

Easterseals Redwood is seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. You will collaborate closely with department managers to draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria, ensuring that we find the best talent to support our mission of making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, veterans, and those facing economic disadvantages. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage all phases of the recruitment process, from job postings and advertisements to screening applications and selecting qualified candidates. You will schedule interviews, prepare interview questions, and assist in the interview process alongside managers and directors. Your role will also involve collaborating with hiring managers during the offer process, where you will recommend salary ranges, incentives, and start dates. Additionally, you will assist with pre-onboarding and onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies. You will also represent Easterseals Redwood at college job fairs and recruiting sessions, promoting our organization and its mission to potential candidates. Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies.
  • Collaborate with department managers to draft job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient recruiting methods based on role and industry standards.
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and prepare interview questions and materials.
  • Conduct interviews with managers, directors, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers during the offer process, recommending salary ranges and start dates.
  • Assist with pre-onboarding and onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Attend college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, aPHR, PHR credential preferred.
