About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Industrial Painter is responsible for driving recruitment efforts to attract and hire top talent across various roles within the organization. This full-time position involves managing the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, while fostering relationships with hiring managers and promoting diversity and inclusion in hiring practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting creation and strategy.
  • Candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Coordination of interview panels and feedback sessions.
  • Extending job offers and facilitating negotiations.
  • Overseeing the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs.
  • Leverage JazzHR as the primary Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for candidate management, reporting, and communication.
  • Proactively source candidates using various methods, including LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment strategies.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Proven experience with JazzHR or a similar ATS, with strong technical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment and hiring in a 1099 context.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
