New River Electrical is searching for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers. This position will report to the Executive Vice President of Enterprise Shared Services in Granville, Ohio. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will consult with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s). You will draft job descriptions and standardized interview questions for hiring managers, identify and manage recruiting firms and agencies, and collect and analyze data to maintain a current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields. Your role will also involve developing, refining, and implementing recruitment strategies and processes to attract high-quality candidates. You will be responsible for posting and managing open positions, sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events. Screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, and evaluating candidates through Predictive Index to assess qualifications will be key components of your job. Additionally, you will coordinate and conduct in-person interviews, check candidates' references and credentials, and manage the offer process, including negotiating salary and benefits packages in coordination with the hiring manager. Building and maintaining relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive recruitment experience will be essential. You will also stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, organize and attend job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities, and follow up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made.
