About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist/Talent Engagement Specialist position at Loyal Source Government Services is a full-time salaried role that encompasses a wide range of responsibilities related to recruitment and talent management. This position is designed to support the Talent Acquisition Manager in fulfilling the recruitment and retention needs across all departments within the organization. The primary objective of this role is to effectively execute corporate staffing strategies by identifying, recruiting, and evaluating potential job candidates. This includes conducting phone interviews to assess talent, facilitating face-to-face interviews, and maintaining a robust pipeline of candidates in the Orlando area to meet the ongoing staffing requirements of the division. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the full cycle of recruiting efforts, which involves sourcing candidates through various channels, including social media and networking resources. The specialist will ensure compliance with all recruiting policies and processes, adhering to EEOC, Federal, and State laws. Participation in trade associations and recruiting events is also a key function of this position, as it helps to expand the candidate pool and enhance the organization's visibility in the job market. Additionally, the specialist will coordinate pre-interviews and formal interviews by managing schedules and will work closely with the HR and Training Manager to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires. Utilizing an applicant tracking system for recruitment reporting is also a critical aspect of this role, ensuring that all recruitment activities are documented and analyzed for effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in effective recruiting, resume screening, interviewing and selecting talent who have demonstrated the required knowledge and experience to meet the needs of the organization
  • Manage full cycle recruiting efforts for the organization
  • Proactively source for passive and active candidates using social media and networking resources
  • Ensure compliance with recruiting policies and process in accordance with EEOC, Federal and State laws
  • Participate in select trade associations, networking and recruiting events
  • Arrange management pre-interviews and formal interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Coordinate the new hire onboarding processes with HR and Training Manager
  • Utilize applicant tracking system for recruitment reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 2-3 plus years of active and passive recruitment experience in a staffing model preferred
  • Experience successfully managing multi-task projects in various locations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem analysis and assessment capability
  • Appropriate decision making when required
  • Planning and organization
  • Ability to establish priorities and work in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills are required; including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required with the ability to communicate effectively and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
