As an ambassador of The Arc of the Ozarks, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will build and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders, including persons served, supervisors, families, guardians, co-workers, and professionals from other organizations. The TAS will be responsible for managing applicant sourcing by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, and utilizing various digital media and sourcing channels to attract candidates. This includes hosting and attending career fairs and community activities to promote job opportunities. The TAS will also collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and program objectives, ensuring clear expectations for candidates and interviewers. They will screen applications, conduct interviews, and nurture relationships with applicants and new hires throughout the onboarding process.
