About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Admiral Security Services is responsible for managing the recruitment, onboarding, and licensing processes for the Mid-Atlantic North Division. This role involves collaborating with managers to fill vacancies efficiently, maintaining recruitment logs, and ensuring that all hiring goals are met. The position requires a proactive approach to developing a pool of qualified candidates and managing the pre-employment process, including assessments and onboarding paperwork.

Responsibilities

  • Work with managers to fill vacancies as they occur.
  • Maintain Vacancy Tracking Logs.
  • Assure vacancies are closed quickly (not to exceed a 30-day period).
  • Meet all established recruitment goals for the quarter/year.
  • Screen applicants and manage pre-employment processing for candidates.
  • Administer assessment tests as needed.
  • Work with operations managers on recruitment plan for new contracts.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Post openings with professional organizations and in other position-appropriate venues.
  • Utilize the Internet for recruitment.
  • Create and maintain a monthly recruitment calendar, outlining external and internal recruitment fairs/interviews.
  • Partner with Administrative Assistant to complete new hire and employment paperwork (i.e. hiring sheets, transfers in BOETA, status changes, etc.).
  • Ensure all aspects of onboarding are completed prior to new hires beginning to train.
  • Responsible for all aspects of licensing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma + 6 years recruiting experience, associate degree + 4 years recruiting experience or bachelor's degree + 2 years recruiting experience.
  • 3+ years of HR recruitment experience in security recruiting preferred.
  • Must be very organized with superior attention to detail.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
  • Must have experience recruiting virtually as this position recruits across 4 states.
  • Must have experience recruiting through social media.
  • Must have experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS preferred).
  • Must be flexible and willing to work weekends and some evenings as needed.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
