About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Clune Construction is responsible for developing long-term recruitment strategies and managing the entire recruiting process across the region. This role involves collaborating with staff at all levels to source, screen, and onboard candidates, while also managing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and building relationships with educational institutions to create a pipeline of potential candidates. The position plays a critical role in ensuring the company hires the best talent, contributing to a culture of shared ownership and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, conducting initial prescreen, scheduling and logistics of all interviews, and processing new hire paperwork.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop appropriate recruiting sources for open positions.
  • Assess, evaluate and recommend recruiting processes and tools to standardize and automate processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase candidate flow.
  • Source active and passive candidates.
  • Establish, track, and analyze recruitment activity and report on progress as requested.
  • Oversee the development of a candidate database.
  • Manage the ATS to maintain accurate documentation on candidates and recruiting activities.
  • Work with Marketing to increase company brand awareness for recruitment.
  • Attend industry events to build relationships with potential candidates.
  • Coordinate and participate in hiring events such as job fairs.
  • Develop partnerships with colleges, universities, and trade schools to build a network of potential candidates.
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with all applicable laws.
  • Provide expertise on employment market trends and innovative recruiting techniques.
  • Participate in company diversity initiatives to ensure fairness in hiring practices.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate setting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment-based websites and sourcing tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • General knowledge of applicable employment laws and practices.
  • Well-organized, dependable, and team-oriented with the ability to prioritize and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel.
