About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at TERI is responsible for attracting, screening, and onboarding candidates to support the organization's mission of empowering individuals with special needs. This role involves collaborating with department managers to identify key skills for open positions, developing innovative recruitment strategies, and representing the company at job fairs. The specialist will also facilitate new hire orientations and ongoing training programs, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Post job openings across multiple platforms to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
• Screen resumes, schedule, and conduct interviews with applicants to assess qualifications.
• Develop candidate pipelines by leveraging professional networks, targeted community outreach, and recruitment events.
• Partner with department managers to define key skills and experience required for each position.
• Create and execute innovative strategies to attract top talent for open roles.
• Demonstrate thought leadership by offering training and coaching opportunities to hiring managers on Talent Acquisition best practices.
• Represent the company at job fairs, sharing insights about its culture, values, and positions.
• Facilitate new hire orientations, onboarding, and ongoing training programs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources.
• Two years related experience and/or training in talent acquisition and/or recruitment.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to multi-task with recruiting, conducting interviews, clerical duties, auditing, onboarding, etc.
