About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for the Personal Care business line. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and negotiating offers for candidates, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. The specialist will utilize various channels to attract top talent and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates while providing strategic insights to hiring managers.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes various channels to identify and attract top talent.
  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates through networking and targeted outreach.
  • Builds and maintains a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Conducts thorough candidate assessments through resume reviews and phone screenings.
  • Evaluates candidates based on their skills, experience, and cultural fit with the organization.
  • Provides timely and constructive feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Partners with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Facilitates regular communication and collaboration between hiring managers and candidates.
  • Acts as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, providing insights and recommendations on market trends and talent availability.
  • Schedules and coordinates interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Prepares interviewers and candidates by providing relevant information and guidance.
  • Gathers feedback from interviewers and uses it to refine the selection process.
  • Works with hiring managers to develop competitive and compelling job offers.
  • Navigates upfront offer discussions with candidates, considering market conditions and internal equity.
  • Ensures a smooth transition for new employees and addresses any onboarding-related questions.
  • Participates in other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in talent acquisition or related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Understanding of various sourcing techniques and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Experience with behavioral-based interviewing techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of recruitment.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Experience with diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) best practices and strategies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools, preferably Workday and/or ApplicantStack.
