The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in managing requisitions and recruiting for all salaried and some hourly positions within the organization. This position encompasses full-cycle recruitment, which includes conducting intake meetings, posting job openings on various platforms, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, and extending offers. The specialist is expected to build strong relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. Key responsibilities include maintaining recruitment activity documents, communicating progress with hiring managers, and providing guidance on talent market trends during interviews. Additionally, the specialist will coordinate and attend college recruiting events and travel to various sites to gain insights into the company's operations and business units.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers and HRBPs for each open position
  • Post and promote open positions via Applicant Tracking System (UKG), networking associations, and 3rd party platforms as directed
  • Direct source and recruit candidates via internal database and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Disposition, screen, and submit applicants in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update recruitment activity documents and be a resource to Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners
  • Communicate weekly with hiring managers on progress
  • Partner with hiring managers to provide guidance and recommendations, as well as share talent market trends through the interview process
  • Present verbal and written offers to candidates
  • Utilize vendor management software tool on roles assigned to agency
  • Coordinate, plan, and attend college recruiting events
  • Travel to sites to learn more about our locations and business units

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years of recruitment experience in either a corporate or agency environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proven success working with a multiple-position workload
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Proficient working within ATS platform
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to present recommendations effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with customers and candidates at all organizational levels, as well as external vendors and partners
  • Ability to evaluate and prioritize tasks independently efficiently and optimally
  • Ability to occasionally travel to attend hiring events and visit office locations
