About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full-cycle recruitment process to identify and attract top talent for various positions within the organization. This remote role requires collaboration with hiring managers, utilizing various sourcing techniques, and ensuring compliance with hiring regulations, particularly for government contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and initiating the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on job descriptions, candidate profiles, and the selection process.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, including social media, job boards, and networking, to identify and attract qualified candidates.
  • Screen resumes and applications to shortlist potential candidates, ensuring alignment with job requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, providing timely feedback to candidates throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate reports on recruitment metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies regarding hiring practices, particularly in relation to government contracts.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events to promote the company and attract potential candidates.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience by providing clear communication and timely updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives by actively seeking out diverse talent pools and implementing inclusive hiring practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a passion for helping others find their ideal job.
  • Familiarity with federal hiring regulations and compliance requirements for government contractors is a plus.
