About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Northwestern Mutual is responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging high-performing professionals to join the organization. This role involves managing the full recruitment cycle, partnering with executive leadership, and utilizing various sourcing strategies to build a diverse talent pool. The specialist will also focus on creating a unique recruitment experience and ensuring that candidates are supported throughout the selection process.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, attract, engage, and introduce successful professionals to the selection process.
  • Partner with executive leadership to attract candidates and build a unique recruitment experience.
  • Source high-quality candidates using various recruitment sources such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Manage candidates through the full recruitment cycle, ensuring support and acting as a business partner to leadership.
  • Execute the office recruiting plan to meet activity and productivity goals.
  • Build a network for referral generation from internal and external partnerships.
  • Develop and manage a presence on LinkedIn to attract talent through advertising and marketing strategies.
  • Master recruitment language to effectively attract candidates for the financial representative career.
  • Review resumes, schedule interviews, conduct pre-screens, and initial interviews for candidates.
  • Utilize and maintain the ATS system to track candidate progress and ensure data accuracy.
  • Ensure necessary metrics are met on a weekly and monthly basis to reach yearly goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a talent acquisition/recruiting role or recruitment coordinator experience.
  • Proactive professional with the ability to work strategically and make decisions to reach goals.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management skills.
  • High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be diplomatic, flexible, and open-minded.
  • Ability to work in a feedback and team-oriented culture.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
  • Variable/Bonus: $10,500 - $26,000
  • Total Compensation: $80,500 - $111,000
