About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Damar is responsible for managing the recruitment process for the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program openings. This role involves sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs. The position is ideal for individuals with a passion for recruiting and a desire to make a meaningful impact in their careers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire hiring process from sourcing to offer acceptance, including creating and managing job postings, opening requisitions in the ATS, and conducting in-person applicant interviews.
  • Proactively identify talent using various techniques such as job boards, Boolean keyword searches, and networking.
  • Consult and partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop position-specific sourcing and recruitment plans.
  • Provide timely communications and feedback to hiring managers and candidates.
  • Maintain accurate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and respond to candidate inquiries.
  • Serve as a backup for onboarding activities, including pre-employment background checks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional sourcing and recruitment experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working with HRIS and ATS systems preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
