About the position

Flexion Inc., a Madison, WI based IT Consulting and Services firm, is seeking a skilled Recruiter to join our team for a consulting project. This position is primarily focused on sourcing, recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates for entry to mid-level positions. The client for this role is also based in Madison, WI, and while the initial phase of the contract allows for remote work from anywhere in the US, preference will be given to candidates located within 50 miles of Madison, WI, as well as in cities such as Boston, MA, Denver, CO, Eden Prairie, MN, Keene, NH, St. Joseph, MO, Phoenix, AZ, or Nashville, TN. This preference is due to the potential for hybrid work arrangements if the candidate is hired as a full-time employee by the client. The initial duration of this position is through December 31, 2024, with the possibility of extension or direct hire by the client. The successful candidate will conduct the full lifecycle recruitment process, which includes solutioning, hunting, gathering, meeting, and offer/negotiation. The Recruiter will develop proactive strategies to research and identify talent pools and recruiting channels to attract candidates effectively. Coordination with talent onboarding teams will be essential to close and finalize new hire recruitment. In addition, the Recruiter will consult with and manage negotiations between candidates, clients, and business teams throughout the recruitment process. Building strong relationships with associations, academic institutions, and interest groups will be crucial to support a robust experienced hire talent pipeline. The Recruiter will also be responsible for developing a program of activities aimed at attracting talent, which may include recruiting presentations, events, sponsorships, and other special initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct full-lifecycle recruitment process for entry to mid-level positions.
  • Develop proactive strategies to research and identify talent pools and recruiting channels.
  • Coordinate with talent onboarding teams to close and finalize new hire recruitment.
  • Consult with and manage candidate/client/business team negotiations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develop strong relationships with associations, academic institutions, and interest groups to support a robust experienced hire talent pipeline.
  • Create and implement a program of activities targeted at attracting talent, including recruiting presentations, events, sponsorships, and other special initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least four years of recruiting experience for high volume positions.
  • Demonstrated experience and success sourcing and hiring passive candidates.
  • Proven track record of working in and across teams to identify talent needs.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, organization, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in the insurance industry and familiarity with Workday ATS is helpful.
