About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Boone Health plays a crucial role in promoting the safety and well-being of all customers while ensuring optimal staffing levels. This position is responsible for identifying and acquiring talented employees from both internal and external sources. The specialist will manage the entire life cycle of the recruiting process, which includes prospecting, interviewing, and closing qualified candidates. The role requires collaboration with other department members and leadership to develop staffing plans and manage activities related to internal mobility. Additionally, the specialist will participate in talent acquisition teams, programs, and projects that align with the organization's business objectives. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will also conduct onboarding activities, which encompass employment verification, criminal background checks, and pre-employment screening scheduling. The specialist will ensure that new hires are accurately cleared to attend new employee orientation. This position is vital for maintaining a diverse and qualified applicant pool, utilizing various sources and modalities to attract candidates. The specialist will also be expected to perform other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the human resources department.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the entire life cycle recruiting process from prospecting to closing of qualified candidates.
  • Identifies and maintains qualified applicant pools to include diverse, internal and external populations utilizing various sources and modalities.
  • Collaborates with other department members and leadership regarding staffing plans and management of activities related to internal mobility.
  • Participates on talent acquisition teams, programs, and projects in support of business objectives.
  • Conducts onboarding activities, including employment verification, criminal background review, pre-employment screening scheduling, and accurate clearance for new hires attending new employee orientation.
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of HR or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
