About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Air Products plays a crucial role in attracting and recruiting top talent for various roles within the organization, including IT, EH&S, Finance, Accounting, HR, Legal, and Communications. This position involves managing the full lifecycle of recruiting, from planning and implementing talent acquisition strategies to conducting interviews and ensuring a smooth hiring process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, along with a proactive approach to sourcing candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy.
  • Manage a full lifecycle recruiting desk.
  • Conduct hiring strategy meetings with managers and develop effective sourcing strategies that will attract a qualified and diverse pool of candidates.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines for potential applicants.
  • Leverage labor market data to support the delivery of quality talent with speed.
  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies.
  • Efficiently review and manage candidate leads, ensuring they meet initial qualifications and criteria set by the hiring manager.
  • Conduct detailed phone and/or video interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Provide hiring managers with a shortlist of top candidates who best meet the job requirements, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Build and maintain a strong internal and external network to grow a diverse pipeline of candidates.
  • Partner with a Talent Acquisition Coordinator throughout the recruitment and onboarding process to deliver an outstanding candidate and manager experience.
  • Suggest innovative ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and relevant employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of three (3) years of recruiting experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems; specifically Workday, and other recruitment software.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
  • Proven ability to source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, resume databases, and Boolean search techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment and prioritize work/projects.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for recruitment events and job fairs.
