New River Electrical is searching for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers. This position will report to the Executive Vice President of Enterprise Shared Services in Granville, Ohio. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will consult with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant positions. You will draft job descriptions and standardized interview questions for hiring managers, identify and manage recruiting firms and agencies, and collect and analyze data to maintain a current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields. You will develop, refine, and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates and manage the offer process, including negotiating salary and benefits packages in coordination with the hiring manager. Your responsibilities will also include posting and managing open positions, sourcing candidates through various channels, screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, and evaluating candidates through Predictive Index to assess qualifications. You will coordinate and conduct in-person interviews, check candidates' references and credentials, and build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive recruitment experience. Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition is essential, as is organizing and attending job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities. You will also follow up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made and collect feedback when placements are unsuccessful. Additionally, you will maintain compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
