About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at MLC is responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and attracting top talent to coordinating interviews and facilitating job offers. This role involves close collaboration with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies that align with the company's culture and values. The specialist will also oversee onboarding activities and maintain compliance with legal requirements related to human resources functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Post job advertisements and coordinate with external employment agencies.
  • Conduct background verifications and administer assessments for candidates.
  • Prepare offer letters and conduct new hire orientation.
  • Maintain employee data in the human resources system, including new hires and separations.
  • Conduct exit interviews with voluntarily separating employees.
  • Oversee I-9 administration and E-Verify processes.
  • Attend career fairs and grow professional networks for recruitment purposes.
  • Assist in other HR special assignments and data/file organization as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Three years of direct experience in talent acquisition or human resources preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Human Capital Management System (HCM) and payroll systems is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office suite of products.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel.
