About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at LADD, Inc. is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process for various positions within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies, conducting interviews, and preparing job offers, all while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The specialist plays a crucial role in attracting and retaining skilled employees to support LADD's mission of empowering adults with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Implement recruitment strategies that align with LADD's organizational goals and specific requirements of open positions.
  • Regularly update and maintain recruitment data.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques to find and attract potential candidates, including job postings, networking, and social media.
  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Conduct initial screening of applicants and organize interviews.
  • Assess candidates based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Promote LADD as an employer of choice through effective branding in job advertisements and candidate interactions.
  • Review existing talent acquisition processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage recruitment metrics and prepare reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, HR, Social Sciences, or a related field; or Associate degree in a relevant field with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 3 years' experience in full cycle recruiting or talent acquisition function.
  • 3 or more years of experience with one or more ATS systems.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to support talent acquisition strategy across the business.
  • Fundamental knowledge of EEO Regulations, FCRA, and Title VII as they relate to recruitment and selection.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to travel within the community, with occasional day or overnight trips (up to 10% overnight travel per year).
