About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide comprehensive recruiting and HR support within a high-volume environment, focusing on attracting and retaining a diverse and high-performing workforce. This role involves operational tasks, candidate sourcing, and collaboration with senior team members to fulfill recruitment needs while promoting the university's mission and values.

Responsibilities

  • Provides operational and administrative support in a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting environment.
  • Partners with Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialists and Talent Acquisition Consultants to source candidates and screen resumes.
  • Writes and edits external job ads and postings in collaboration with recruiters and hiring officials.
  • Provides full-cycle recruitment for basic/routine positions within assigned departments.
  • Screens employment applications, conducts interviews, and performs employment verification and background checks.
  • Verifies I9s and stays abreast of compensation and hiring regulations.
  • Updates candidate records and job postings, and conducts new employee onboarding sessions.
  • Assists employees seeking positions due to reduction in force.
  • Works on special employment projects.
  • Acts as a back-up for the front office as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources.
  • Strong recruitment coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems.
