About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at National Payroll Services LLC will play a crucial role in shaping the workforce of the organization by researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies. This position is designed to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent, ensuring that the organization meets its staffing needs efficiently and effectively. The specialist will be responsible for managing all phases of the recruitment process, from job description creation to candidate selection and onboarding. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate closely with department managers to draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. They will identify and implement efficient recruiting methods and strategies tailored to the specific roles, industry standards, and organizational needs. The specialist will assist with job postings and advertisements, screen applications, and select qualified candidates for interviews. They will also oversee the preparation of interview questions and other hiring materials, ensuring a smooth interview process by attending and conducting interviews alongside managers and directors. Additionally, the specialist will work with hiring managers and human resource staff during the offer process, providing recommendations on salary ranges, incentives, and start dates. Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies, will be a key responsibility. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also represent the organization at college job fairs and recruiting sessions, upholding the mission, values, and culture of City Hospital at White Rocks. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the recruitment efforts of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Uphold City Hospital at White Rocks Mission, Values and Culture.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP PHR or SPHR preferred.
  • At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
