About the position

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Momentive Technologies plays a crucial role in workforce planning and full-cycle recruitment, collaborating closely with the Global Director of Talent and Performance Management and various Business Unit Leaders. This position is focused on connecting talented individuals with opportunities within the company, ensuring that staffing needs are met effectively while maintaining a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Administer full cycle recruiting including job postings and creative measures to attract talent.
  • Identify external candidate pipelines in alignment with each position and geography.
  • Review resumes and conduct phone screenings to match candidates with open positions.
  • Determine interview and selection processes with hiring teams.
  • Assist with offer letters, skill assessments, background checks, and other relevant administration during onboarding.
  • Utilize recruitment tools such as Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday), social media channels, and external recruitment tools.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, and career fairs.
  • Maintain relationships with internal business partners, hiring managers, and leaders across multiple functional areas.
  • Stay current on competitor practices, industry trends, and recruitment standards.
  • Coordinate on-site interviews, candidate travel, and documentation of interview feedback.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure effective onboarding for successful candidates.
  • Maintain and grow commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Assist with the development of the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP).
  • Act as a brand ambassador to raise brand awareness and increase the candidate pool.
  • Assist with the creation and updating of job descriptions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Global Payroll Manager for administration of the referral bonus program.

Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years of Talent Acquisition/Recruiting experience.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; ATS systems (e.g. Workday) will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Knowledge of practices and procedures within the recruiting field.
  • Maintain confidentiality of candidate/new hire information.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 - 3 years' experience in HR in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a chemical industry desired.
